What to expect:
"All are welcome. Come as you are."
Our Sunday service is more traditional than some, but don't worry! We believe church is meant to be a place where all are welcome, so we go out of our way to create a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. People dress as they feel comfortable - some dress up and some dress comfortably. Our services last about an hour.
We create a space for children in our worship service; a nursery is also available.
Our Pastors
Pastor Nick Ahrens
Nick Ahrens has served as pastor at Lafayette CRC since March 2025. Pastor Ahrens is married to Linda Sue. They have 3 sons and 9 grandchildren. Over the past 25 years Nick has served at three churches while also devoting part of his time to helping run family service-related businesses. His hobbies include traveling, hiking, and pickleball. His passion is to help turn ancient biblical stories into current, relevant illustrations.
